Fire!

Yesterday as I left to pick up my son from school I noticed what looked like a really dark thunderhead cloud up against the mountains east of us. I watched it grow as I went along. When we got home I turned on the news I saw that it was a fire. This morning the sky is filled with smoke. The fire has burned about 1,800 acres but luckily it is heading eastward where where there are not many structures or cities. They have about 1,000 firefighters working on it this morning along with planes and helicopters. Hopefully the fire will be contained soon and will not change direction. We have had so little rain that everything here in so cal is so dry! I just hope that this isn't the start of another horrible fire season like we had in 2003.

New T-Shirt Design

I just received a t-shirt that I designed for my CafePress store. I must say that I am pleased with the quality of the shirt and my design looks fantastic on it! Here is the design that is on the front of the shirt (the shirt does not have the copyright signature that is on this photo). BTW, I post my hot rod photos on my blog the hot rod queen.
